Service Australia has just announced its new video chat option for clients of Centrelink. The Financial Information Service is free and can be organised by making appointments with the services officers..
To book a video chat appointment use the same number you use to call Centrelink and say ‘Financial Information Service’ when asked why you’re calling.
You’ll get the meeting link for your video chat through your secure myGov inbox. It includes instructions to help make sure you’re ready for the chat.
You can choose a time that suits you from the available video chat appointments.
